Being human comes with a simple universal prescription for your overall vitality: MOVE, KEEP MOVING, MIX IT UP!


We all got the medicine, built-in.  As life unfolds, you need to re-formulate it in your own movement laboratory.  Especially when you feel a pebble (or even a rock) in your shoe from injury, surgery, pain, illness, chronic stress, fear of falling, overweight, fatigue, depression, or major life changes. 


Are you looking for a compassionate, well-rounded trainer/coach? Do you prefer to train in-person, rather than through a virtual program? I would love to support you on your journey. I’ll design a structured movement program with you, and will guide you to learn new skills. You can count on me to encourage and to challenge you! 


We all know it's not easy to shift our priorities and to see beyond movement hurdles. It can be tough to activate energy, confidence, and willpower to get started. Our brains are very smart in tricking us into energy conservation.  This is essential in survival conditions, but unhelpful in our sedentary society. 


So ... getting started is not going to be magically better, easier, or cheaper tomorrow. No one else will do it FOR you, but I'll be there WITH you. The magic is: once you are past the hurdle and get more energy, everything you do will feel better and easier.

2 simple steps to get started today


1. Schedule your Try-out  Movement Session here 

Get a feel for what it's like to work with me, at the location of your choice. During this session we'll do a brief check-in and get moving. You'll get to sample some of my favorite Moving is Medicine  exercises at your own level. There is no obligation to continue.  If you are interested, we can explore which structured training program might be the best fit for you. Price $45


2. Where? Choose your spot:

  • YOUR HOME: Do you prefer to work out in the convenience and privacy of your own home/home gym?  I will bring training equipment. If you have a home gym set-up, we may also include what you already have. Find details about service area here. 
  • AT THE GYM: STAY-FIT or SNAP in Trinidad -  with gym membership. All regular fitness equipment available, including heavier weights,  cable machine, and racks. 
  • MY STUDIO: a few blocks from Main Street in Trinidad. Balance, Mobility, Agility equipment, Barbell rack, kettlebells, dumbbells, TidalTank training. 
  • OUTDOORS in the Park at Elm/Chestnut St in Trinidad. I will bring training equipment. We will also work with the natural and human-made environment.

Best multi-purpose exercise during your walk

Build coordination, balance, and ankle/knee/hip/core strength.

 Focus on slowly controlling the down-step and landing. 

Balance challenge: practice low to the ground!

Foundational movement patterns: Crawl forward/backward, Stand up, Look Up, Wave to a pedestrian on the trail, Jump off, Land softly

Step Ups

Great to include in your daily walks for hip stability, knee strengthening.
